Eli Tomac dominated the Main Event at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Saturday, but it was the white-knuckled 2nd place battle between Chad Reed and Ryan Dungey that had the crowd on its feet. Tomac jumped out to an early lead and never was really in danger of losing it as he claimed his first SX win of the season.

Reed charged into the top from several spots back, and by the halfway point Dungey was challenging Cole Seely for the 2nd position. Reed seized the opportunity to blow by both, eventually claiming the runner-up spot.

Justin Hill won his second straight Main Event int he 250SX West class after edging out Shane McElrath.
