SUPERCROSS FUTURES RECAP – INDY
Round 4 of the 2019 Supercross Futures AMA National Championship took place inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana Sunday, March 17th. With 758 entries it was a full day of racing with tons of action!
The fastest class of the program is the Supercross Futures division where riders are racing to earn their Road to Supercross points towards their Monster Energy Supercross Professional Licenses. Yesterday it was Honda mounted Brock Papi taking the win and taking another step towards his goal of racing Monster Energy Supercross in 2020. In the mega competitive Supermini 2 (ages 13-16) class it was KTM rider Noah Stevens taking the victory over Preston Boespflug. Always a fan favorite, the 51cc Limited 4-8 class is comprised of the little ones who put on a show with each drop of the gate, and the winner this time around was Uriah Wood. Meanwhile in the 40+ class there was a great race between eventual winner Jason Stills and former Monster Energy Supercross racer Barry Carsten. Stills squeaked out the victory by .302 seconds! Last, but certainly not least the Women’s class was won by rising female star Jordan Jarvis!
Remember, the top 3 from every class earns a spot at the Supercross Futures AMA Amateur National Championship in Las Vegas on October 20-21!
