BMW Motorrad announced a completely revamped version of their R1200R roadster at this year’s INTERMOT show, and though BMW has a long history of designing bikes with looks that only an engineer could love, we might even go so far as to say that the new R1200R is getting dangerously close to being downright sexy.

The upright standard will now be powered by the water-cooled version of their signature 1200cc boxer engine, and the telelever suspension found in the outgoing model will be replaced with more traditional inverted forks in a move that is sure to be controversial among BMW fans.
