Rekluse named Official Clutch of American Flat Track

American Flat Track and Rekluse Motorsports Inc. have reached an agreement naming the industry leader in clutch performance technology as the Official Clutch of American Flat Track beginning in 2017.

Rekluse, founded in 2002, is the industry leader in motorcycle clutch technology and innovation. Rekluse engineers use state-of-the-art CNC manufacturing to create performance manual and centrifugal clutch products for customers worldwide. All Rekluse products are engineered, developed, and manufactured in the USA.

“We are excited to partner with American Flat Track and showcase our clutch technology within this exciting and historic form of racing,” said Sean Brown, President of Rekluse. “We have been involved with singles racing for some time and see 2017 as the next step in providing our technology to the twins class as well. Through racing we strive to learn and improve our products for not just racers, but our customers alike. The American Flat Track series allows us to do this and we look forward to the start of racing this season at the DAYTONA TT.”

Since its inception, Rekluse has served as an innovator in clutch performance and safety, and the company’s American-made products have been an integral part in the success of off-road motorcycle racing championships spanning a variety of disciplines. Through the new partnership with American Flat Track, the Idaho-based company has established a leadership position in the sport by offering a significant discount on their technology to all active competitors.

“We’d like to thank Rekluse for their interest in our sport and their dedication to quality, performance and safety,” said Michael Lock, CEO of American Flat Track. “Their clutch technology offers riders a number of performance characteristics that align well with the dynamics of flat track racing. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

At select rounds on the 18-race schedule, Rekluse will also provide product education and trackside support for the series. Fans attending American Flat Track events will have the opportunity to learn more about the brand on race day by visiting the company’s activation space.
