After completing a one-day test at Buttonwillow Raceway Park in California, MotoAmerica President and three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey (https://motoamerica.com/2019/11/video-wayne-rainey-rides-again/) headed to Japan where he rode a motorcycle again – this time in front of a huge crowd of Japanese race fans at the Suzuka Circuit, the site of one of his four GP victories in his final season of racing in 1993.

This MotoGP-produced video shows Rainey’s memorable ride in front of his Japanese fans along with fellow American World Champions Kenny Roberts and Eddie Lawson – 26 years after Rainey’s career ended with his crash in the Italian Grand Prix at Misano on September 5, 1993.
