Cometic Gasket, Inc. named Official Gasket of American Flat Track in 2017
American Flat Track is proud to announce a renewed partnership with Cometic Gasket, Inc. naming them as the Official Gasket of American Flat Track for the 2017 and 2018 race seasons.
No stranger to powersports, Cometic has been deeply involved in racing through relationships at the series level with American Flat Track, AMA Pro Hillclimb, Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and NASCAR. The company also supports individual American Flat Track riders Jared Mees and Sammy Halbert.
“We are delighted to have Cometic Gasket as an important partner for 2017 and 2018,” said Michael Lock, CEO of American Flat Track. “They are a very successful Ohio-based, American company and they have deep roots in the powersports industry. They also support a number of our American Flat Track athletes, which shows their love of Pro Flat Track.”
Since their inception in 1989, Cometic has been dedicated to the advancement in the motorsport industry and has expanded services to various areas in the automotive market, including marine, agricultural, industrial and many more. Today, Cometic is a wholly owned and operated family business that has grown into a global leader and innovator in the highly competitive engine supplier marketplace. Their support in American Flat Track will be visible through marketing and broadcast efforts on digital and social media outlets, as well as an on-air presence during the live streaming segments of FansChoice.tv.
“Cometic has a proud history with American Flat Track and our support of the powersports industry as a whole goes back to the earliest days of the company,” said Bob Gorman, Founder and CEO of Cometic Gasket, Inc. “As Cometic has grown, so has our support of Flat Track racing. We started as a small gasket manufacturer and focused our attention on marketing ourselves to the racers and their mechanics. That’s still the backbone of who Cometic is to this day but now we’re able to extend our reach to all the incredible fans in the grandstand and to a national television audience. We’re thrilled to further ingrain ourselves in the sport and be the Official Gasket of American Flat Track.”
